Tian Justman, born November 14, 1982 in Atlanta, Georgia to an artist/ accessories designer father and a fashion buyer-educator mother. Tian spent her formative years back stage at fashion shows with her parents. At age 16, Tian was diagnosed and treated for osteosarcoma. The experience inspired her to seek a career as a bio-geneticist. She attended Georgia Southern Universityas a bio-genetics major.
Understanding the immense need follow ones passions Tian revaluated her career path and understood that her true passion was in the fashion industry. Tian attended Bauder College for fashion, followed by New York internships with designer Jill Stuart and W magazine and working for McQ and stylist Havana Laffite.
Upon returning to Atlanta in 2007, Tian created her namesake fashion line and opened her first Tian Justman Showroom, focusing on haute couture and custom design pieces. The line quickly developed a large following among the Atlanta socialites and fashionistas.
In 2009 Tian moved her company to a larger facility in the west midtown’s design district in Atlanta, Georgia. Tian generously supports charities such as St. Jude’s and The Captain Planet Foundation with custom gowns.
2010 marked the beginning of Tian’s business expansion efforts, growing her brand recognition, and development of ready-to-wear line.
